The beginning phase of project management is initiating it. In this process, you can take care of different aspects, such as:


  • Business case: It will justify the need for the project, project objectives, and return on investment.

  • Feasibility study: Through this, you can execute the project with reasonable time and cost.

  • Project charter: It conveys what the project will deliver.

  • Kickoff meeting agenda: In this meeting, the project team and project stakeholders collaborate and agree upon project goals and objectives, scope, and timeline.

  • Quality Management: In this stage, you should be assure to check the project's quality. Make sure the quality requirements should meet the client's expectations.


#4 Project Monitoring & Control:

The fourth phase is so far the most exciting stage where the planning and execution ends. Now, it's time to monitor your workers and control them to deliver the best before the deadline ends.


  • Transfer Deliverables: It's about producing a final deliverable. Make sure all your project deliverables are up to the mark.

  • Confirm Completion: You will require to take confirmation from all the stakeholders, clients and project team. So, before sign-off there will be no confusion and last-minute changes.

  • Review Documentation: The project manager is responsible for all the contracts and documentation to make sure everything is done before signing-off.

  • Release Resources: Whenever you finish a project, you need to release the team, contract workers, rentals, etc.

  • Project Manager: As we’ve mentioned above, the project manager is responsible for managing the project management knowledge areas throughout the project.

  • Project Sponsor: The project sponsor represents the customer of the project. Depending on the organization, there can be different levels of project sponsors.

  • Project Team Members: Team members are skilled professionals who work to contribute to the process of producing deliverables, managing risks and achieving project goals.

  • Project Stakeholders: This is a person or a group who has a vested interest or “stake” in the project. The project manager must communicate project progress to stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.

  • Clients: This is a group or a person for whom the project or a key component of the project is delivered.
